Day Treatment (PHP)

Full-time Treatment with Flexibility

Partial Hospitalization Program

Our day treatment, also know as partial hospitalization (PHP), is the highest level of care provided in an outpatient setting.

Day treatment can be a good option for clients who have completed the Ambulatory or Inpatient Detox program and can benefit from structured support as they transition into their new lives.

It can also be a good option for clients who do not need the higher level of care provided in the Inpatient or Ambulatory Detox programs.

This program is for those with mild or moderate detox symptoms who need consistent, but not constant, medical monitoring, and who are not at risk for self-harm. Day treatment clients will return home or to a sober living house each night, and so will need to be able to go overnight without monitoring.

Each client’s program is personalized to meet their individual needs and treatment goals.

Treatment may include:

  • Medication management
  • Group therapy
  • Individual therapy
  • Other community activities and therapies
  • Family sessions

Clients will need to be physically, emotionally, and mentally able to participate in group and individual therapy for five days each week. PHP requires a considerable time commitment, which can limit the client’s ability to go to work or school until the program is finished.

After a patient completes our Partial Hospitalization Program, our staff will work with the patient to develop an individualized continuing care plan to support their continued recovery.
